We offer several non-degree program types as a foundation for developing your customized program.

All GET programs are non-degree. Participants do not receive degrees or academic credit from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Executive Education

Executive education programs are designed for public and private sector professionals. Specific topics vary but all programs will enhance practitioner skills in leadership, communication, and management.

Foundation Year at Illinois

The foundation year at Illinois (FYI) equips students seeking undergraduate and graduate programs in the United States with the skills to successfully enroll in prestigious universities. Topics include English language, introductory college coursework, college application preparation, and cultural engagement.

Higher Education Institute

The higher education institute is designed for both experienced and emerging faculty and administrators at higher education institutions. The institute makes use of dynamic and interactive instructional methods and covers topics such as administration, teaching, research, and service.

Intensive English

Our globally accredited Intensive English Institute (IEI) offers intensive language programs taught by highly qualified instructors. Courses focus on reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, pronunciation, TOEFL preparation, and more.

Research

We invite scholars and graduate students to conduct research at the university. Researchers will have the opportunity to take courses, connect with expert faculty, use the university’s world-class library, and engage with the local community.

School Administration & Teaching

Administrator and teacher trainings enhance student, teacher, scholar, and professional’s skill sets in school administration, teaching methodologies, pedagogy, and more.

Undergraduate Education
