Our non-degree programs provide access to cutting-edge knowledge on current trends, techniques, and practices in both the United States and today’s global market. We work with highly respected professors and administrators, campus units, and local businesses to develop successful non-degree training programs.

Bolashak Scholars Program

Our Bolashak Program is a non-degree academic and professional development initiative hosted at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This program supports scholars from Kazakhstan selected through the Bolashak International Scholarship. Participants may join the program as researchers, including scholars supported through Kazakhstan’s 500 Scientists initiative, or as industry professionals pursuing focused professional development.

Foundation Year at Illinois

This pre-college foundation program is designed to prepare international high school and graduates students for applying to academic programs in the United States. Participating students will take a wide array of courses that will better prepare them academically and socially for college in the United States, including TOEFL and SAT/GRE preparation, academic success, introduction to university life, academic reading and writing, calculus, computer programming, and major specific courses (as applicable).

Immersive Intelligence Summer Camp

The Immersive Intelligence Summer Camp is a short-term, in-person summer program designed to prepare high school students for future academic studies by introducing them to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and extended reality (XR). Through hands-on activities, guided instruction, and collaborative learning, participants gain early exposure to how these technologies are designed and applied in real-world contexts. 

Intensive English Programs

Our Intensive English Institute offers a full-time, in-person intensive English program that begins three times a year, following the semester schedule of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The intensive English program has six levels of proficiency with both required and elective course options. 

Undergraduate Summer Schoolss

Our short-term, intensive summer courses for undergraduate and graduate students. These programs provide participants with rigorous and engaging courses, so they can study specific subjects in greater detail. Participants also acquire a solid foundation for their future studies in the United States. We cooperate with faculty, researchers, and advisors at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to develop these programs.
