We build our programs through relationships with more than 60 public and private sector institutions worldwide, including: Illinois units and departments, national and local companies, organizations, and institutions.
In addition to our core staff, we have two units, the Intensive English Institute (IEI) and the Shanghai Office. GET and IEI are located on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, while the Shanghai Office is located in China. Meet our staff.
For over 25 years, GET has provided comprehensive educational and executive training programs to more than 7,500 students and executives from 21 countries. We welcome international participants from diverse backgrounds, including: business executives, government officials, higher education administrators, scholars, faculty, professionals in specific disciplines (such as law and agriculture), and international undergraduate and graduate students of all majors.

GET is a unit of Illinois International. Illinois International refers to the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs and Global Strategies, its functions, and its reporting units.
